Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen blackberries unsweetened
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
  • 0.5 cup Greek yogurt plain or vanilla
  • 1 tbsp raw apple cider vinegar with the mother
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup to balance acidity
  • 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon for warmth
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds for added fiber
  • 0.25 cup cold water only if needed to thin consistency

Notes

For the best flavor, use 'raw' apple cider vinegar containing 'the mother.' If you find the blackberry seeds bothersome, you can strain the smoothie through a fine-mesh sieve before serving. To make this vegan, use coconut yogurt and maple syrup instead of Greek yogurt and honey. This smoothie is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight jar for up to 12 hours; shake well before drinking.
