Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 2 cup frozen dark sweet cherries pitted
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt or dairy-free alternative
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 0.75 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
  • 3 tbsp fresh lime juice about 2 medium limes
  • 1 tbsp lime zest
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup, adjust to taste
  • 0.5 tsp pure vanilla extract

Notes

For best results, serve immediately. To make ahead, combine all ingredients except ice in the blender pitcher and refrigerate for up to 4 hours; add ice and blend just before serving. Store any leftovers in a sealed jar in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours—shake or re-blend before drinking. Substitute frozen mixed berries for cherries, or use agave for a vegan version. For a creamier texture, add half a frozen banana.
