Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 4 cup cold filtered water
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice from about 3-4 large lemons
  • 3 tbsp pure maple syrup or raw honey, adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp liquid chlorophyll
  • 1 tbsp fresh mint leaves lightly packed, plus more for garnish
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger finely grated
  • 1 pinch sea salt fine grain
  • 1 cup ice cubes for serving

Notes

Storage: Store any leftover lemonade in a sealed pitcher in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. The color may darken slightly but the flavor will remain. Make-Ahead: You can prepare the base (water, lemon juice, sweetener, chlorophyll) up to a day in advance. Add the mint, ginger, and salt just before chilling to prevent bitterness. Variations: For a different twist, substitute lime juice for half of the lemon juice or add a few slices of cucumber. Serving Suggestion: Serve very cold for maximum refreshment. For a fun presentation, rim glasses with a mixture of sugar and a tiny bit of matcha powder.
