  • 1.5 cups frozen mixed berries blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or any plant-based milk
  • 0.5 cup Greek yogurt plain and unsweetened for probiotics
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds for added Omega-3 fatty acids
  • 0.5 tsp ground turmeric for anti-inflammatory benefits
  • 1 tsp honey optional, to taste
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper pinched to activate the turmeric

Notes

To make this ahead, blend everything except the collagen and store in a mason jar; stir the collagen in just before drinking. You can substitute the almond milk with coconut water for extra electrolytes. Frozen fruit is preferred over fresh to achieve a thick, milkshake-like consistency without watering it down with ice.
