Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 2 large bananas peeled, sliced, and frozen for thickness
  • 4 whole Medjool dates pitted and soaked in warm water for 5 minutes if dry
  • 1.5 cups unsweetened almond milk or any preferred plant-based milk
  • 0.25 cup Greek yogurt plain and unsweetened for extra creaminess
  • 1 tbsp almond butter adds healthy fats and a nutty undertone
  • 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon adds warmth and depth
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract pure extract for aromatic flavor
  • 1 pinch sea salt to balance and enhance the natural sugars

Notes

For a vegan version, substitute the Greek yogurt with coconut yogurt or an extra half-banana. To make ahead, you can blend the smoothie and freeze it in silicone muffin molds; simply pop 2-3 molds into the blender with a splash of milk when ready to serve. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight jar for up to 24 hours, though separation may occur.
