Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 0.25 cup rolled oats certified gluten-free if needed
  • 1 large ripe banana spotted bananas provide the best natural sweetness
  • 1 cup whole milk or unsweetened pea/soy milk for dairy-free
  • 0.25 cup Greek yogurt plain and unsweetened
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseeds adds healthy Omega-3 fats
  • 0.125 tsp ground cinnamon for a warm, aromatic flavor
  • 0.5 tsp pure vanilla extract alcohol-free preferred for toddlers

Notes

To make this ahead, blend everything except the oats and store in the fridge; add oats and re-blend just before serving to prevent thickening. If the smoothie becomes too thick after sitting, stir in a splash of extra milk. For a colder treat, use a frozen banana chunk instead of fresh.
