  • 2 frozen bananas sliced before freezing for easier blending
  • 1 tsp blue spirulina powder adjust for desired color intensity
  • 0.5 cup unsweetened coconut milk use the carton variety, chilled
  • 0.5 cup Greek yogurt use coconut yogurt for a vegan option
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract pure extract preferred
  • 0.25 cup fresh blueberries for topping
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds for topping and protein
  • 1 tbsp shredded coconut unsweetened

Notes

For the thickest consistency, use as little liquid as possible. If the blender stalls, add one tablespoon of coconut milk at a time. To make ahead, you can blend the base and freeze it in silicone molds, then re-blend for 30 seconds before serving. Garnish with edible flowers for an extra aesthetic touch.
