  • 1 lb penne pasta or other short pasta
  • 0.5 cup olive oil extra virgin
  • 4 cloves garlic minced

  • 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 0.5 cup fresh basil leaves torn or roughly chopped
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat gently with a splash of water to restore creaminess.
