Storage: Keep refrigerated in a sealed pitcher for up to 24 hours. After 24 hours, the basil may start to lose its vibrant flavor and turn brown. Make-Ahead: Prepare this infused water the night before for a ready-to-drink refreshing beverage in the morning. Variations: Add cucumber slices for extra freshness, lemon wedges for citrus brightness, or mint leaves alongside the basil. For a sparkling version, replace half the water with chilled sparkling water just before serving. Strain out solids after 24 hours if storing longer.
