Notes

Storage: Store in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 3-5 minutes to maintain crispiness. Make-Ahead: Assemble the dish up to the cheese topping step, cover, and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Add 2-3 minutes to the cook time if starting from cold. Substitutions: Ground beef or turkey can be used instead of lamb. If you don't have Baharat, use a mix of 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp allspice, and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Serving Suggestion: Serve with a fresh cucumber and tomato salad or a dollop of plain yogurt.
