Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp ceremonial grade matcha powder sifted to remove lumps
  • 0.5 medium ripe avocado pitted and peeled
  • 1 cup baby spinach tightly packed
  • 1 frozen banana sliced before freezing for easier blending
  • 1.5 unsweetened almond milk or any plant-based milk
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds for added Omega-3s
  • 1 tsp honey optional, or use one medjool date
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract

Notes

For a caffeine-free version, swap matcha for moringa powder. To make ahead, portion the dry ingredients, spinach, and fruit into a freezer bag; just add milk and blend when ready. Store leftovers in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 12 hours, though color may darken slightly due to avocado oxidation.
